About Drum Circles

Bass Tone Bars (BTBs) bring a dynamic tonal bass element to the driving rhythms of the drum circle.  Just like all drum circle participants exploring and discovering their rhythms to create and establish the pulse of the group, those using the bass tone bars will do the same by providing a tonal component

As the group’s collective energy builds, tonal accents and patterns will start to emerge thus bringing the entire drum circle to a new level of rhythmic tonality.

The Bass Tone Bar standalone pitch configuration allows them to be spread among the performers, or they can be clustered together for a single percussionist.  No musical skill is required – only the ability to hit the bars (as hard as you want) while blending in with the rhythmic drive of the group.
